Class #15 | Review of Al Maghrib | Arabic Lesson | Ismalic Studies

We talked about our field trip to Al-Maghreb, we talked about how humble the sheikh was by observing and listening to him and then talking about his personality.

We also learn some of the beginning and endings words in Arabic.

Class #14 - Review of field trip

W reviewed 3 sections of the Al-Maghrib worksheet. They were:

• Talked about the speaker
• Review of Athan and Arabic lesson

Next week, we will finish the rest of the worksheet.

Class 13 - Friday Feb 13th - alMaghrib seminar field trip

We went on a field trip to listen to a alMaghrib (Mohahamed faqeeh). The seminar was called "rules of engagement".

We listened to the speaker and filled our worksheet. We will complete the work sheet at home and then review in the class.

• We arrived on time so we can get the good seats
• We got the front seats because we wanted to see the speaker
• We brought our own food and water so we can stay focused
• We helped each other

We built on our questions from last week and for the first time, Students submitted their own very good questions!

Class 5: Dec 12th

4 more students joined the class today!

Topic of the day:
We discussed the meaning of Surah Kawthar and many didn't know it.
Our Project:
We also started the Adhan practice and most did quite well.

Class 4: Dec 5th

We are back together.  Briefly discussed our goals for being together and what did we do in past long weekend when we were supposed to attend the alMaghrib class which we might or might not have attended.  Brief discussion about "Signs of the day" took place

Class 3: Nov 21st Field trip to alMaghrib Free Friday

alMaghrib will offer the Free Friday night for their "signs of the hour" seminar

Students will attend the seminar and then we will have a conference call to discuss what did they achieve from the seminar.
